About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our Residential service in SA44 6HS. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, developing strong teams, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the service, ensuring compliance, safety, and excellence in care. You will manage allocated service within a goal motivated way, be legally compliant and driving standards and excellence in the care of people we support. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily running of the service and ensure high standards of care.
- Lead, support and develop staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, records, reports and compliance.
- Maintain safe, effective services in line with legislation and company policies.
- Ensure personalised care plans and risk assessments are up to date.
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals and the wider community.
- Handle complaints, incidents and quality improvements.
- Support business development and staff retention.
Requirements:
- Ideally QCF Level 5 or a minimum of QCF Level 3 with proven management experience and a willingness to work towards Level 5.
- Experience managing staff in a social care setting.
- Strong understanding of supported living and best practice.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to write and oversee care plans and risk assessments.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and Class 1 business insurance.
- Commitment to dignity, independence and rights of the people we support.
