We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our dynamic culinary team. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will contribute to food preparation and desser assembly, ensuring that our guests receive high-quality desserts that look amazing, This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service periods.
- Support catering events by preparing and packaging meals as required.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation is advantageous.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new culinary techniques will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative during busy periods.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation tasks.
