Main Duties:
As a Junior Finance Business Partner, your main duties include:
- Provide finance and business support to Customer Service, Sales & Marketing, and Government & Defence departments, and contribute to ad hoc business projects, process mapping, and stock management.
- Develop strong, collaborative working relationships across teams, functions, and levels.
- Use order management and pricing systems to process orders.
- Raise dealer invoices and credits, and provide Dealer and Customer support
- Manage and oversee shipments, ensuring timely completion and proper invoicing, and resolve any shipment, delivery, or invoicing issues.
- Liaise with Customer Service to address queries and errors with the factoring company ensuring the integrity of the Accounts Receivable Ledger.
- Utilise strong reconciliation and reporting skills to support customer statement and invoice queries, and provide credit control support and commentary for aged debt.
- Handle credit control for accounts managed in-house and support Government & Defence with allocating cash receipts.
- Assist the Financial Controller with statutory audit and tax queries, budget and forecasts, month-end and year-end accounts, VAT returns, HR and payroll tasks.
- Help create a continuous improvement environment.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or part qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
- Skilled user of Microsoft packages, encompassing Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good knowledge of financial and management accounting frameworks.
- An ability to prioritise own workload
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and flexibility
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to building teamwork
