Customer Service Assistant – Electric Scooter & E-Bike Store (Springtown, Derry)

We're looking for a friendly, reliable and capable Customer Service Assistant to join our team at our busy electric scooter and e-bike store in Springtown, Derry (BT48 0LY).
This is a great position for someone who enjoys talking to customers, values getting things right, and wants to grow with a fast-moving local business rather than just work another retail job.
About the Role
You'll be one of the friendly faces of the shop — helping customers choose the right scooter or bike, answering their questions, processing sales, and keeping our online orders moving out the door.
You'll work alongside our assistant manager and mechanics as part of a small team where everyone pulls together.
Main Responsibilities
- Serving customers on the shop floor and helping them find the right product
- Processing repairs and updating customers in a timely manner
- Developing a lot of technical knowledge about e-scooters and e-bikes (training provided)
- Answering customer enquiries by phone, email, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger
- Processing online orders and preparing them for dispatch
- Assisting with stock intake, product checks and general shop presentation
- Building relationships with regulars and new customers alike
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day shop tasks
Who We're Looking For
- Friendly, confident and comfortable talking to a wide range of people
- Reliable and able to work independently when needed
- Basic computer skills (excel, email, messaging apps)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Some retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Genuine interest in scooters, bikes, or e-mobility is a bonus
