Position Description
- To wire control panels that are around 1m x 0.5m with between 50 and 400 electrical connections for a variety of Airedale product ranges to a high standard
- Working with wire sizes ranging from 0.5 – 120mm
- To be involved in team activities to improve production, quality and health and safety within the department
Required Skills / Education and Experience.
- Minimum 2 years proven experience working within an electrical environment
- Must be able to read, understand and wire to electrical schematics
- To be able to set and use torque wrenches to tighten components
- To be able to wire large panels containing switch gear rated up to 400A
- To be able to build panels using a layout when production dictates
- To be able to use hydraulic crimps for lugs ranging from 10 – 120mm in size
- To be able to wire in a neat, systematic and time efficient manner
- A recognised electrical qualification would be an advantage
- Flexibility to work within a team and having ability to carry out tasks on own initiative
Shift pattern available:
- Morning – 6:00am to 14:30 Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 11:40am Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.56-£14.30 per hour
Expected hours: 39.0 per week
