We are looking for an experienced Movax Machine Operator / Excavator Driver to join our team for ongoing civil engineering and groundworks projects.
The successful candidate must have previous experience operating an excavator fitted with a Movax side-grip piling attachment and be confident carrying out sheet piling operations safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators fitted with Movax piling equipment
- Install and extract sheet piles
- Position, pitch and drive sheets accurately to line and level
- Work safely around lifting operations, excavations and other site activities
- Carry out daily plant checks and report any defects
- Work closely with site supervisors, banksmen and groundworkers
- Follow RAMS, lift plans and site-specific safety procedures
- Maintain good productivity while working to a high standard
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator qualification with lifting Ops
- Proven experience operating Movax piling equipment
- Experience with sheet piling operations
- Good understanding of lifting operations and safe working practices
- Ability to work from drawings, levels and site instructions
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
