Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and take orders accurately, providing attentive service throughout their visit
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as required, adhering to food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and service stations
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing
- Respond courteously to guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous
- Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Upselling abilities to enhance guest experience and optimise sales potential
