Sleaford Building Services Ltd are a design and build MEP and Construction contractor specialising in quality engineering solutions throughout the UK.
SBS was established in 2003 and has since grown to become one of the largest independent Mechanical, Electrical and Construction contractors in the East Midlands. We are an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) owned business based in Heckington who offer a unique service founded on engineering expertise.
To complement our historic M&E heritage SBS created and developed an in-house construction section, which now includes civils to enable a turnkey to all projects.

Position Available
SBS are looking for a Support Team Administrator. An Administrator is a fundamental part of the company to facilitate the smooth running of projects, and the company.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. You will be motivated with a pragmatic approach and comfortable working independently while also being a supportive and approachable member of the wider team in this fast-paced role.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Providing administrative and project support to Contracts Managers, ensuring project information is accurately recorded, maintained and communicated through project management software.
- Developing and maintaining project documentation, including Operating & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals and Building Logbooks.
- Collating Health & Safety documentation and ensuring project records are complete and well organised.
- Issuing documentation in accordance with Subcontractor Agreements and project requirements.
- Supporting with timesheet control and Maintenance contracts administration.
- Aiding with the Estimating mailbox, logging tender enquiries and ensuring documentation is distributed.
- Supporting the assessment of subcontractors by analysing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and assisting with subcontractor shortlisting.
- Completing client questionnaires and supporting the process of obtaining and maintaining approved contractor status.
- Maintaining compliance records for company certifications and monitoring renewal requirements.
- Managing the training matrix, identifying upcoming training and sourcing suitable courses.
- Arranging accommodation and travel for Site Operatives and Managers.
- Providing reception support, including answering telephone calls, welcoming visitors and managing deliveries.
- Managing meeting room bookings and outgoing post.
- Maintaining stationery and office food stocks, including preparing lunches and replenishing supplies.
- Assisting with DBS clearance submissions and associated administration.
- Undertaking general office administration, including filing, printing and maintaining company and project databases, ensuring information is accurate and kept up to date.
- Providing additional administrative support and holiday cover across the department as required.
Required Qualifications
- IT Skills and administration experience.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience.
