Overview
We are seeking a friendly Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in coffee preparation and food service within a dynamic environment. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, matcha, and other drinks.
- Handle customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, equipment, and seating areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety throughout all duties
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently and safely
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
