A fun, newly renovated coffee and ice cream shop in the heart of Alnwick is looking for two experienced baristas to join our team.
We’re a walk-up spot — customers order and collect at the hatch rather than sitting in — so it’s a bright, fast-moving, social environment where great coffee and a warm welcome are everything. If you take pride in a well-pulled espresso and a beautifully finished flat white, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee to a consistently excellent standard
- Serving ice cream and other treats to customers at the hatch
- Delivering friendly, efficient service and keeping the queue moving
- Keeping your station and equipment clean and well-maintained
- Handling orders and card payments accurately
What we’re looking for:
- Proven barista experience (you can dial in a grinder and make genuinely nice coffees)
- A friendly, upbeat manner with customers
- Reliability and good time-keeping
- Availability for weekend work (this is a requirement of the role)
