Markovitz is looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Internal Salesperson to join our busy Insulation & Dry Lining team in Glasgow. This is a fast‑paced role supporting contractors, builders, and trade customers with expert product advice, accurate quotations, and giving exceptional service.
You will play a key part in driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations within the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and in‑branch customers.
- Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to convert opportunities into orders.
- Process sales orders efficiently using internal systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Liaise with suppliers to check product availability, pricing, and lead times.
- Work closely with the external sales team to support ongoing projects.
- Support stock control, product sourcing, and general branch duties when required.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is always delivered.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in builders’ merchants, construction materials, or a similar trade sales environment (preferred).
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Confident working with quotations, pricing, and order processing.
- A proactive attitude and strong team ethic.
