Experience: Family Law experience required (PQE flexible)

The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and client-focused Family Law Solicitor to join our growing team in Stockport.
You will manage a varied caseload of family law matters, providing expert legal advice and representation across divorce, child arrangements, financial remedy proceedings and other private family matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys working closely with clients, delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied family law caseload with minimal supervision
- Advise clients on divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements and related family matters
- Draft legal documents, court applications and correspondence
- Negotiate settlements to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
- Represent clients at court hearings and legal proceedings where required
- Maintain accurate case files and provide regular client updates
- Keep up to date with developments in family law and legal practice
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support client outcomes
