What You'll do.
In this entry-level role, You'll join our Data Insight & Automation team within Novuna Business Finance. Reporting to our Senior Decision Modelling & Analytics Manager, you'll be part of a highly engaged, forward-thinking team focused on using data to drive smarter decisions, improve processes, and enhance customer outcomes.
You'll play a key part in handling, analysing, and improving the quality and use of data across the function. You'll support the development of data-driven insights, reporting, and automation, helping the business better understand performance, identify trends, and unlock efficiencies.
You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to improving customer outcomes, increasing efficiency, and reducing risk across the business.
This is a hybrid role where you will be required to work from our Staines office a minimum of 2 days a week, with the likelihood of this being 3 days per week during training - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Applicants must live within a commutable distance and be available to work full days on-site.
What you'll bring.
Analyse and interpret data to generate meaningful insights that support decision-making
Develop and enhance data pipelines, reports, and dashboards to improve data accessibility and visibility
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by identifying, investigating, and resolving data quality issues
Drive process improvements through better use of data, automation, and collaboration with stakeholders
You'll be a strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively and can explain data clearly to different audiences. You'll have a natural curiosity about data, a keen eye for detail, and a logical approach to solving problems.
You'll also have.
Experience working with data (through work, study, or personal projects)
Working Knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis and manipulation
Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate and resolve data issues
A curious mindset with an interest in improving data processes and supporting business decisions
