Summary
Basnett Street Nursery School are seeking to appoint a part-time School Business Support Officer to work in our busy and fast paced school office. You will be the first point of contact for the children, families and visitors, ensuring they all receive a warm welcome.
The aim of the role is to provide clerical, administrative and general welfare support to our children and families, supporting their daily queries and undertaking daily attendance procedures. Working days are Wednesday to Friday and the working hours are 08:30 - 16:45 on Wednesdays and 08:30 - 15:45 Thursday and Friday.

Essential Qualifications
GCSE (or equivalent) grades 4 (C+) and above, in both English Language and Mathematics
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) Business Administration
Essential Experience
- Experience of Microsoft Office systems
- Experience of working in a busy administrative setting
Desirable Experience
- Experience of supporting financial administration, e.g. dealing with petty cash, banking and postage.
- Experience of customer interaction - in person and telephone
- Experience in use of database / MIS systems (e.g SIMS)
- Experience of maintaining and updating computerised records, e.g. attendance registers.
- Experience of maintaining stock and ordering supplies.
