Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas throughout shifts.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including light snack assembly or packaging.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using cash or card systems.
- Provide friendly and attentive service, addressing customer queries and feedback professionally.
- Restock supplies as required to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Uphold hygiene standards by adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
- Ability to perform serving duties efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic skills in food preparation and handling of beverages are advantageous.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak times effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to engage with customers confidently.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of work 10am to 6pm over any 7 days per week. We can offer a flexible work schedule
Pay: £12.71 per hour
