Web Developer & SEO Executive
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer & SEO Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing company websites while implementing effective SEO strategies to improve online visibility, website performance, and user experience. The role requires collaboration with marketing, design, and content teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and customize company websites using WordPress and other Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Build responsive, user-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
- Design, test, and implement new website features and functionality.
- Monitor website performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Perform website audits and optimize speed, usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement and maintain on-page SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, metadata, internal linking, and content structure.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
- Analyse website traffic and user behaviour to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, content writers, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to deliver digital projects on time.
- Ensure websites comply with SEO, security, and web performance standards.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, SEO trends, and digital marketing best practices.
- Prepare reports on website performance, SEO progress, and project updates for management.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Experience with WordPress development and customization.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and search engine ranking factors.
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with other CMS platforms is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
