About the Role
Liverpool is renowned for its rich culture, vibrant nightlife, and world-class hospitality, and at Vito Calculli Beverage Group UK Ltd, we apply that same standard of excellence to every event we host. We craft bespoke mixology masterclasses and high-end beverage experiences that elevate corporate and private events across the UK. We believe that guest experiences shouldn't just be hosted; they should be remembered.
We are looking for a Hospitality Event Coordinator & Masterclass Assistant to take hands-on ownership of our masterclasses and live event operations. You aren't just setting up tables; you are shaping the atmosphere and delivering seamless guest experiences. You will collaborate directly with lead mixologists, clients, and venue partners, bridging the gap between behind-the-scenes event logistics and front-of-house excellence. You are the advocate for exceptional service from guest arrival to final pack-down.
Why Work With Us?
- The Environment: Based in the heart of Liverpool’s vibrant hospitality scene. We value a workplace built on energy, craft, and passion—think high standards, collaborative events, and elite beverage training.
- Service Maturity: We don't need you to convince us that quality guest experiences matter. We know they do. Your input on event design, guest engagement, and workflow will be valued from Day 1.
- Modern Setup: We work with premium equipment, luxury spirit brands, and top-tier Liverpool venues to deliver refined, memorable masterclasses.
- Growth: You will work alongside industry experts and beverage consultants, gaining hands-on event management and high-end hospitality skills to fast-track your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Masterclass & Event Execution: Lead the physical setup, inventory prep, and smooth running of mixology masterclasses and private tasting sessions.
- End-to-End Guest Journey: Welcome guests, manage event schedules, assist lead mixologists during live workshops, and maintain an engaging, professional environment.
- Logistics & Inventory Management: Oversee venue pre-checks, kit preparation, stock control, and post-event breakdown to ensure top-tier standards.
- Venue & Client Liaison: Communicate clearly with local venue managers, event planners, and suppliers to ensure every event runs on time and according to specification.
- Quality Assurance: Gather guest feedback, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and continually refine our event workflows for maximum efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in hospitality, events coordination, bar operations, or guest services.
- Portfolio / Track Record: Demonstrated experience in hosting, front-of-house service, or event support. Show us your organizational talent and passion for hospitality.
- Skills: Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and a natural confidence when interacting with private and corporate guests.
- Availability: Flexibility to work event-based shifts, including evenings and weekends across Liverpool and surrounding areas.
- Mindset: You are proactive and adaptable. You know how to think on your feet during live events while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor.
