Responsibilities
- Prepare orders by picking items from shelves and packing them securely for dispatch, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Stock shelves systematically to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access for team members.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items and report issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of materials handling techniques.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail for stock management and quality control tasks.
