Architectural Associate (Fixed-term with opportunity to permanent appointment)
We are looking for a talented and motivated mid-weight/ senior architect to join our growing team at Supra Design, based between between Gatwick, West Sussex and London Bridge.

This position is offered as a fixed-term role, with a genuine opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time position. Progression will be based on overall performance, engagement with the team, and the ability to support the studio’s growth by bringing onboard a new client or project, either independently or through collaboration with the studio.
We are seeking a Part 2 or Part 3 qualified Architect with 3–5+ years of UK professional experience who is enthusiastic about structural design, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, and is keen to grow and be part of a growing practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications & building regulation
- Assisting with technical drawings, specifications, and construction information
- Contributing to design development from concept through to project delivery
- Working collaboratively with consultants, suppliers, contractors, and clients/ stakeholders.
- Undertaking material and product research and assisting with specifications
- Attending site visits across the UK
- Manage & delegate tasks to team members involved..
- Preparation of tenders, presentations and visual materials.
- Helping maintain project documentation, schedules, and correspondence
- Supporting the studio’s growth by identifying and introducing potential new clients or projects
- Representing Supra Design in a professional, friendly, and considered manner in meetings and external collaborations.
What We’re Looking For
- A good working knowledge of UK planning policy and building regulations
- Experience using SketchUp & Layout (AutoCAD/ Revit experience welcomed; openness to learning our in-house workflow is important).
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign & Photoshop for presentations
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
- Management & organisation skills
- Strong communicator with a positive and proactive attitude
Requirements
- Part 2 or Part 3 qualified (Must be ARB qualified).
- 3–5 years of UK experience across residential, commercial, or hospitality projects
- Availability to work from the studio 2–3 days per week
- Own laptop required (software licences provided by the studio)
