About the Role
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Bank Support Workers to join our dedicated team. Working on a flexible, as-needed basis, you will provide support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and other complex support requirements. The role offers variety and the opportunity to work across different services and locations depending on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including cooking, shopping, budgeting, and accessing the community.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Support individuals to attend appointments, social activities, and community events.
- Maintain accurate records and complete documentation in line with company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and medication procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- A caring and compassionate approach to supporting others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Previous experience in health and social care.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.
- Level 2 Diploma in Care (or willingness to work towards one).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
