Overview
We are looking for a dependable and conscientious Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within commercial premises, helping to create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
Working Hours: Wednesday and Friday, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and can work independently. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins.
- Clean and maintain toilets, washrooms, kitchen areas, and communal spaces to a high standard.
- Complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks such as cleaning skirting boards and removing cobwebs.
- Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed consistently.
- Use cleaning equipment, products, and chemicals safely and in accordance with training provided.
- Store cleaning equipment and supplies correctly after use.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to management promptly.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach.
- Good organisational skills and a positive attitude.
- Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment where required.
