Chelmsford Removals is looking for removal drivers to join our team on a initial 6-month contract. This is hands-on, physical work — if you enjoy staying active and don't like being stuck behind a desk, you'll feel right at home. Not in peak condition yet? No problem. The job itself builds your fitness, and we give you time to find your feet.
Customer care matters just as much as the lifting. We take real pride in treating our clients fairly and making every move a smooth one, so we're after people with a genuinely upbeat, can-do attitude.
No two days are the same — different clients, different teams, different challenges.
What you'll be doing
- Driving 3.5t vehicles
- Packing
- Loading and unloading at homes and warehouses
- Domestic and commercial moves
- Disassembling and reassembling household furniture
What we're looking for
- A full driving licence, held for more than 12 months
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- Well-presented with a positive attitude
- Flexibility around hours and days
- Someone who works well in a team and is great with clients and the public
Removals experience is a bonus but absolutely not essential — we provide full, comprehensive training.

Schedule: 5 days from 6, Monday to Saturday. Day shift

Pay: £112.20-£117.30 per day
