WE’RE HIRING
ALLOY WHEEL TECHNICIAN SHREWSBURY
AlloyXpress is looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Alloy Wheel Technician to join our growing team on a full-time basis.
We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in the alloy wheel repair/refurbishment industry and is confident carrying out the complete process from start to finish.
THE ROLE.
You’ll ideally be able to carry out the full alloy wheel refurbishment process, including:
- Wheel preparation and stripping
- Kerb damage and alloy wheel repairs
- Straightening and minor repairs
- Sanding and preparation
- Priming and painting
- Powder coating
- Diamond-cut wheel preparation/finishing
- Lacquering and finishing
- Tyre removal and fitting
- Wheel balancing
- Quality control and final inspection
Training will be provided on our specific processes, equipment and standards.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in the alloy wheel industry is essential
- Ideally experienced across the full refurbishment process
- High attention to detail
- Pride in your workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence preferred
SALARY
£27,000 – £40,000 per year, depending on experience, skills and suitability for the role.
The right candidate with strong all-round experience can expect to be at the higher end of the salary range.
HOURS
Monday – Friday
There will also be an expectation to be flexible to work Saturdays when required, depending on workload and business needs.
