Purpose: Following on from an increase in the volume of the facilities sector invoicing, we are looking for an AP team leader to manage the facilities sector AP process.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorisation.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes (3-way matching).
- Code invoices correctly to the general ledger.
- Weekly statement reconciliations for the facilities sector suppliers.
- Handle supplier queries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date creditor records.
- Assist with month-end close and reporting.
- Support audits by providing relevant documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and other departments.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in an accounts payable role.
- Education: AAT Qualification (or studying AAT) is desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Leadership: The ability to liaise with key suppliers and assist in problem solving.
