Mechanical Day Engineer
Location: West London
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Overtime
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays
We are recruiting for a Mechanical Day Engineer to join a leading FM company on a large, established healthcare contract in West London.
This is a permanent, static position working alongside an experienced team of day and shift engineers, with 7 years remaining on the contract, offering excellent long-term stability.
The Role
- Carrying out mechanical PPMs, reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Maintaining AHUs, calorifiers, plate heat exchangers and associated plant
- Working on boilers, motors, pumps, valves and fans
- General plumbing and water system maintenance
- Working within plant rooms, including steam and heating systems
- Supporting the wider engineering team with general building services maintenance
Requirements
- Strong mechanical building services / maintenance experience
- Experience working with HVAC and mechanical plant
- Healthcare experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Electrical-biased engineers can also be considered if they have strong mechanical experience, including split systems and AC units
- Relevant mechanical or building services qualifications would be advantageous
Package
- Up to £45,000 basic salary
