Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and organising ingredients under supervision
- Support chefs with cooking and plating as needed, gaining hands-on experience in culinary techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste efficiently
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned, stored properly, and maintained in good working order
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards across all areas of the kitchen
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a busy environment
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently under pressure

Location
This role will be across two sites, with the majority of shifts being in Southwark. However, trials will be held at both locations. The addresses are:
