We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Section lead to join our family run nursery in Brighton. This position will be working as part of the management team and is a supernumerary role (not in ratio). You will be supporting an outstanding space for our youngest children along with leading a team in high quality practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, friendly team and develop your practice under a strong Management team with lots of future progression opportunities.
You will be someone who demonstrates a mature attitude with a natural ability to work as part of a team and to lead a team to a high standard
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Early years qualification
- 1 year experience working within the early years sector
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework and EYFS
- A clear DBS check and subsequent subscription to the Update Service
- Demonstrate responsibility, flexibility and ability to work on your own initiative
- High standard of organisation and time management skills
Desirable requirements:
- Paediatric First aid training
- Knowledge and experience with "Keeping children safe in education document"
- Be willing to learn and develop your knowledge and practice within a managerial role
- Experience in leading a team and reflective practice
- Strong parents partnership skills
