As an Apprentice Care Co-Ordinator, you will work closely alongside the Manager and office team to support the day-to-day running of the service. This is a developmental role designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to progress into a full Co-Ordinator position once you have completed your apprenticeship.
You will be supported to undertake a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care as part of this role.
This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week, with 6 of your weekly hours sent on your qualification.
Key Responsibilities
With guidance and training, you will assist with:
- Planning and creating Care and Support Worker rotas
- Supporting the oversight and organisation of annual leave
- Liaising with Health and Social Care professionals regarding changes to care packages (including increases, decreases, starts, and endings)
- Communicating updates and changes effectively to customers and colleagues
- Building positive and professional relationships with internal teams and external professionals
- Assisting with the completion and submission of weekly and monthly reports
Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Domiciliary Care
- Has GCSE English and Maths.
- Is willing to complete a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care as part of this role

Additional Responsibilities
On-Call Duties
- Participation in weekday evening on-call duties on a rota basis (approximately 1 evening per week) once trained.
Care Calls
- The office team may be required to assist with care calls when needed
- This is shared across the team and intended to be infrequent
