Are you looking for an opportunity to develop yourself, to lead and inspire young people?
If so, why not become a Cadet Leader and support Lancashire Police Cadets.
We are looking for volunteers to support our Police Cadet scheme in Lancashire.
Lancashire Police Cadets are young people aged 13 – 18 years of age who meet weekly (term-time only) they are also involved in local community projects and fundraising.
Training will be provided where necessary and may be in the form of peer support, distance learning or trainer led. Volunteers must have completed the required training before the activity can be undertaken and may be asked to regularly refresh training where required.
This opportunity is subject to police vetting and to qualify you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
We have 11 Cadet Units across Lancashire, all based at accessible venues.
They are located at;
Fleetwood (& Over Wyre) (Fleetwood Nautical College – meet on Tuesdays)
Burnley (Burnley College – meet on Tuesdays)
Preston (Cardinal Newman College meet on Tuesdays + meet on Wednesdays)
Blackburn (Blackburn College – meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays)
Hyndburn/Accrington (Accrington and Rossendale College – meet on Thursdays)
Pendle/Nelson (Nelson College – meet on Tuesdays or Thursdays)
West Lancashire/Skelmersdale (West Lancashire College – meet on Tuesdays)
South Ribble/Leyland (Runshaw College – meet on Thursdays)
Blackpool North (Blackpool and The Fylde College – meet on Wednesdays)
Blackpool South (University Centre – meet on Thursdays)
Lancaster (University of Cumbria – meet on Wednesdays)
Cadets are held at the above locations during term time between 5:30pm – 8:30pm.
