Hereford Contract Canning is a fast-growing and ambitious contract canning business, proudly partnering with leading drinks brands. Following continued investment and the acquisition of new customers, we are expanding our operations and looking to recruit a new shift of multi-skilled Packaging Operatives to join our Manufacturing Department.
You’ll be part of a dedicated team of Operators, working a three shift pattern:
Week 1: Sunday - Thursday, 2200 - 0600
Week 2: Monday - Friday, 1400 - 2200
Week 3: Monday - Friday, 0600 - 1400
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Safely operate a variety of machinery and equipment within the packaging hall.
- Carry out product and can size changeovers in line with standard operating procedures.
- Clean in Process (CIP) of all tanks and product mains.
- Perform basic maintenance on packaging equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with all food safety and product quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
- Operate forklift trucks to transport raw materials and finished goods.
