We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Beauty Therapy Technician to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within our successful Beauty Therapy department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with beauty industry experience and excellent organisational skills to contribute to a dynamic learning environment, helping students develop the practical skills and professional standards required for a successful career in the beauty industry.
About the Role
As a Beauty Therapy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting staff and students within our commercial training salons and specialist treatment rooms. You will ensure that resources, equipment, and facilities are maintained to a professional standard and ready for teaching, assessment, and commercial activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing treatment rooms, equipment, and resources for practical sessions.
- Maintaining salon cleanliness and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Managing stock levels, ordering consumables, and maintaining inventory records.
- Supporting teaching staff during practical classes and assessments.
- Maintaining and servicing beauty therapy equipment as required.
- Assisting with the organisation of salon operations and client appointments.
- Ensuring all resources and facilities meet industry and awarding body standards.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A relevant Beauty Therapy qualification at Level 2 or above.
- Experience working within a beauty therapy or salon environment.
- Knowledge of current beauty industry practices and health and safety requirements.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to supporting student learning and achievement.
