The manager would like to onboard 2 new Residential Support Workers bank staff
Day to Day responsibilities.
A typical day in the home consists of all the things a parent would do for their own child. This means planning their week, ensuring children are eating a balanced diet, providing transport to and from education as well as any health appointments. The home encourages young people to try new things so you'll be expected to support extracurricular activities as well.
As a regulated industry, safeguarding, recordkeeping and recording are of the upmost importance.
Type of person we are looking for.
The young people here can be vulnerable and have been let down numerous times throughout their lives.
This means sometimes they can display challenging behaviour. As a result, you'll need to be a confident individual that is resilient and is able to think quickly, act appropriately and de-escalate any situation you may face. You will need to be able to work a mix of day, night and sleep-in shifts.
If you have a drivers license and any qualifications relating to childcare, healthcare, supported living or mental health this will be a benefit to your application.

You will receive a minimum of £11 per hour with an opportunity for promotions and payrises in line with professional qualifications and competencies. We have both part time and zero hour bank contracts available if flexibility is needed.
It is a 1 or 2 stage interview depending on your level of experience and demonstration of your existing knowledge.
