A leading care provider is currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to work in a residential/supported care setting with adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health disorders and challenging behaviours.
The ideal candidate will have a number of years of experience working in care and have a very strong awareness and background of CQC policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
Your focus will always be on ensuring the delivery of consistently high-quality services which supports and empowers people to live independently in the community – all within a challenging, but very rewarding environment.
You will have in-depth experience of risk assessments, implementing care plans, and meeting financial and business targets.
You must have:
- Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications.
- The ability to work the contracted hours required for the position, including shifts, weekends and/or bank holidays where applicable.
- The right to work in the UK without requiring employer sponsorship.
