Senior Video Editor (B2B Content & LinkedIn)
£40,000–£45,000 | Remote (UK)
We're Seven Video, a B2B video agency based in Leeds.
We help B2B businesses turn expertise into content people actually want to watch. From customer stories and thought leadership content to LinkedIn ads, events and internal communications, we create videos that help our clients build trust, communicate clearly and stand out in their market.
We're looking for a Senior Video Editor to join the team.
LinkedIn is a major focus for us, so we're looking for someone who understands what works on the platform and how to create content for B2B audiences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Editing customer stories, thought leadership content, event videos, promo videos, video ads and internal communications
- Turning interviews and b-roll into compelling stories
- Creating LinkedIn content, video ads and promotional content
- Repurposing longer-form content into multiple content assets
- Creating motion graphics, text animation and branded assets using stock footage or footage captured by our production team
- Managing projects from ingest through to final delivery
- Working closely with producers throughout projects
- Reviewing edits and providing constructive feedback where required
You'll occasionally be involved in creative discussions before filming and may contribute ideas during pre-production, but this is first and foremost an editing role.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years' professional editing experience
- Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro skills
- Strong Adobe After Effects skills
- Experience creating branded motion graphics and logo animations
- Comfortable using motion tracking, rotoscoping and compositing techniques
- Experience integrating graphics into live-action footage
- Strong understanding of animation, timing and pacing
- Strong storytelling and narrative editing ability
- Experience editing interview-led content
- Good colour correction and sound design skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback on creative work
- Experience creating LinkedIn content, paid social content or B2B marketing content
- Understanding of LinkedIn and B2B audiences
Hiring Process
Stage 1
Please submit:
- Your showreel
- Links to 2–3 relevant projects you've worked on
- A short video introduction (2–3 minutes) answering:
- What stood out to you about Seven Video and the type of work we do?
- Tell us about one of your favourite edits. What was your approach and why do you think it worked?
- A client gives you a 30-minute customer interview and asks you to maximise the value of that content on LinkedIn. What would you create and why?
Please note: Applications submitted without the short video introduction will not be considered.
Please don't spend time editing this. A simple phone or webcam recording is absolutely fine. We're interested in your thinking and answers, not your editing skills.
Stage 2
Video interview.
Stage 3
Paid trial project.
The trial consists of two briefs:
- A motion graphics brief
- An interview-led editing brief
The project is paid at £350 per day (£700 total).
All footage and briefs are based on previous projects, unused material or fictional scenarios created specifically for the recruitment process. No work completed during the assessment will be used for client delivery or commercial purposes.
