About the role
Pure Align is a premium Pilates studio in Manchester and we’re looking for someone exceptional to run it. This is a rare hybrid role for a certified Pilates instructor who is ready to lead — or an experienced studio manager with a genuine passion for movement and wellness.
You’ll own the day-to-day operations, shape our class programme, lead a talented instructor team, and drive the studio’s growth — all while continuing to teach and build your own client base. Key responsibilities
- Scheduling & studio operations: Lead rota and timetable planning, assign instructors, and optimise studio utilisation across the week.
- Class programme design: Define class types — reformer, mat, small-group, hybrid — and set seasonal programmes in collaboration with the instructor team.
- Events & influencer sessions: Book and coordinate guest instructors and wellness influencers, manage marketing for special events, and ensure smooth delivery and strong attendance.
- Instructor team management: Onboarding, training, performance reviews, scheduling and motivation — ensuring consistently high teaching standards across the team.
- Client experience & reception: Oversee front-of-house operations, membership sales support, and the daily member experience — making every visit feel exceptional.
- Commercial & revenue growth: Track capacity and bookings, identify opportunities to grow revenue through premium classes, partnerships, and influencer collaborations.
- Retention & member health: Monitor membership metrics, class attendance and feedback; propose and implement improvements to keep members engaged.
- Teaching your own classes: Lead group sessions as part of your timetable, with the opportunity to build a personal training client base for additional income.
- Marketing & social media support: Work closely with the marketing team to drive local awareness, coordinate influencer content, and build the Pure Align brand in Manchester.
- Studio standards & facilities: Maintain a premium environment — health & safety, equipment upkeep, and a studio experience that reflects the Pure Align brand at every touchpoint.
- Budget & financial oversight: Manage instructor and staff costs, monitor KPIs, and support monthly reporting to the founders.
What we’re looking for
- Certified Pilates instructor (e.g. STOTT, Body Control, Peak Pilates, or equivalent)
- Experience managing a studio, wellness facility, or a team
- Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions-first approach
- Strong communicator and confident team leader
- Genuine passion for member experience and brand standards
- Drive to grow revenue, build community, and raise the bar
