Maintenance Engineer

You'll enjoy a varied, hands-on role with plenty of technical challenge, supporting the reliability and continuous improvement of production machinery.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Completing routine inspections, servicing and equipment repairs to ensure machinery operates safely and reliably.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, performance and overall productivity.
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve maintenance issues and support operational performance.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding, maintenance and repair skills.
- Experience carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to diagnose faults efficiently and work safely under pressure.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Benefits:
Salary - £45,000 and £50,000.
- Rotating shift pattern offering variety, with alternating weeks of day shifts and afternoon shifts (2:00pm-10:00pm), including an early finish on Fridays.
