Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN)
£52,000 - £55,120 Per Annum | £2,500 Welcome Bonus
Not every Clinical Deputy Manager role is the same.
At Mearns View Care Home, we are not simply looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to support the running of the home. We are looking for a trusted clinical leader who can work in close partnership with the Home Manager and take ownership of clinical standards across the home.
The person who instinctively notices when something isn't quite right. The person who believes exceptional clinical care isn't achieved through inspections or audits alone, but through visible leadership, consistency and an unwavering commitment to doing the right thing for every resident, every day.
This is a rare opportunity to join a luxury 67-bedded care home, working alongside an experienced Home Manager who believes that high standards aren't optional, they're simply how outstanding care should be delivered.

The Person We're Looking For
You're already doing a great job where you are.
You're the ‘go to’ person that colleagues naturally turn to when they need advice.
You're calm under pressure, confident making decisions and someone who leads through actions rather than job titles.
More importantly, you understand that this role isn't simply about supporting the Home Manager, it's about becoming the clinical heartbeat of the home.
You'll know your residents, understand their individual needs and ensure every aspect of their care is delivered safely, compassionately and consistently. You'll recognise when standards begin to drift before they become problems, coach and support your team to continually improve, and create an environment where excellent care becomes the norm rather than the exception.
Our Home Manager is looking for someone who takes genuine ownership of clinical care. Someone who doesn't just complete audits, but ensures every action is followed through. Someone who understands the importance of medication management, clinical governance, care planning and compliance, but never loses sight of the fact that behind every audit is a resident depending on us to provide exceptional care.
Ultimately, we're looking for someone who can provide reassurance.
Reassurance to residents. Reassurance to families. Reassurance to colleagues. Reassurance to the Home Manager that every aspect of clinical care is being led by someone who genuinely owns it.
Why join Care Concern Group?
Every organisation talks about career progression.
We'd rather show you what that looks like.
One of our Home Managers first joined Care Concern Group over 15 years ago as a Care Assistant. Through hard work, development and the opportunities available across our growing organisation, they've progressed into leadership and are now preparing to commission one of our flagship luxury care homes in Notting Hill, London.
We've recently promoted Deputy Managers into their first Home Manager positions.
We've promoted Home Managers into Regional Support Manager roles, supporting multiple services and helping shape standards across our wider group.
As one of the UK's fastest growing family-owned care providers, we're continuing to invest in our people, open new homes and create genuine opportunities for ambitious leaders who want to build long-term careers.
If you have the ambition, we'll provide the opportunity.
What you'll bring
You'll be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN and experience working within an elderly care setting.
More importantly, you'll bring the qualities that can't be taught -
-
A passion for delivering exceptional clinical care.l
-
Strong leadership and the confidence to support, mentor and develop others.
-
The ability to build trust with residents, relatives and colleagues.
-
Excellent clinical judgement and the confidence to make decisions.
-
A proactive approach to clinical governance, quality improvement and continuous learning.
-
The desire to continually raise standards rather than simply maintain them.
A final thought...
This probably isn't the right role if you're simply looking for another Clinical Deputy Manager position.
But if you're looking for somewhere your leadership will be recognised, your clinical expertise genuinely valued, and your ambition supported, we'd love to hear your story.
Because we're not just recruiting our next Clinical Deputy Manager.
We're looking for the person who will help shape the future of clinical excellence at Mearns View.
