Bravo Landscapes was established in 2002 and specialises in the design and construction of bespoke high quality gardens. We are now looking for our next trainee to join us.
This is an opportunity to learn a skilled trade from experienced landscapers and develop the practical skills needed to become a fully competent member of our team.
No two projects are the same, and you'll learn a wide range of skills as you work on high-quality landscaping projects. Working within a small team, you will be taught a variety of construction skills including:
- Paving and patio construction
- Fencing
- Decking
- Artificial lawns
- Driveways
- Joinery and carpentry work
- Construction of water features
- Following planting plans and planting finished gardens
- General groundworks and site preparation
Please note that this is primarily a landscaping construction role, we do not carry out routine garden maintenance or grass cutting etc.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Is physically fit and capable of heavy manual work on a daily basis
- Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Is reliable, hardworking and personally motivated
- Takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail
- Cares about producing a high-quality finish
- Can work to deadlines and follow instructions
- Is keen to learn new practical skills and develop a career in landscaping
- Has achieved GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths
- Ideally has a driving licence, or is currently learning to drive
Be Part of Something You Can See
Landscaping is a physical and demanding occupation. You'll be working outdoors throughout the year, sometimes in challenging weather conditions, and the work can be hard.
But at the end of each project, you can stand back and see something you've helped create with your own hands.
If you don't like the idea of sitting behind a desk or working in a factory, and you're looking for a practical career where you can learn a skilled trade, work as part of a small team and see the results of your hard work, we'd like to hear from you.
The working day starts at our yard in Dunswell at 7:20am, Monday to Friday, so you must be able to reliably get to the yard for this time.
To apply, please send us a full CV and covering letter explaining why you would like to become a landscaper and why you think you would be a good fit for Bravo Landscapes.
No agencies, please.
