Tenancy Sustainment Officer
Location: This post is based at Horizon’s Livingston office. However, hybrid working is available with this role.
Salary: £44,377.00 - £46,689.00 pro rata (placing according to skills and experience)
Hours of Work: 21 hours per week, organised over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Alternative working patterns and/or working arrangements will be considered.

The Role

The Tenancy Sustainment Officer is part of the housing services team. The post holder provides advice and assistance to tenants and sharing owners of Horizon who are identified as requiring help to establish and sustain their tenancy. Depending on the individual, this may involve providing mentoring, assisting with areas such as welfare rights, money advice, education and employment support and sign posting to relevant agencies dependent on their particular needs.
About You
Educated to HNC level or equivalent, the Tenancy Sustainment Officer will have demonstrable experience of providing a service to vulnerable groups and have a working knowledge of the Welfare Rights and Benefits Systems.
You will have an understanding of Welfare Reform for landlords and their tenants and have experience of using housing databases and software packages.
