Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team. Various shifts available. 6pm-2am, 8pm-4pm, Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in working in a hands-on, physically active position with potential for skill development in tools and construction-related tasks. All positions are paid, including internships, and applicants should be committed to adhering to health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to assist with cleaning tasks.
- Support the setup and breakdown of equipment for various operational needs
- Follow strict health and safety protocols to minimise hazards and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with waste disposal and ensure all areas are kept organised and hygienic
- Conduct routine inspections to identify cleanliness issues or potential safety concerns
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and uphold company standards
Requirements
- Previous experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physically fit, capable of performing manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Awareness of health and safety procedures relevant to hygiene and manual handling
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
