We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team, providing exceptional service and support in a dynamic catering environment. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, customer service, and event setup, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and plating to meet quality standards
- Support the set-up and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables and serving stations
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Deliver catering orders to clients’ venues as required, maintaining professionalism during transportation
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining, and service areas throughout shifts
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously
- Handle phone enquiries professionally, taking orders or providing information as needed
- Assist with stock management, including inventory checks and replenishing supplies
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is desirable
- Delivery driver experience is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic cooking skills and culinary knowledge are beneficial
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, or barista duties can be an asset
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings if required

Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
