Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused, and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to support our dealership's sales team. This role is responsible for assisting customers throughout their vehicle purchasing journey, supporting the sales process, maintaining vehicle displays, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming dealership environment.
- Assist customers with general enquiries and direct them to the appropriate Sales Consultant when required.
- Build positive relationships with customers and provide a high standard of service throughout their dealership experience.
- Follow up with customers as directed by the sales team to confirm appointments and maintain communication.
Sales Support
- Assist Sales Consultants with the preparation and delivery of vehicles.
- Prepare vehicle information packs and promotional material.
- Help coordinate customer test drives, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Support the sales team in achieving dealership sales objectives.
Administration
- Assist with preparing sales documentation and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Enter customer and vehicle information into the dealership management system.
- Maintain organised filing systems and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist with finance, registration, and delivery paperwork as required.
Vehicle Presentation
- Monitor showroom and yard presentation to ensure vehicles are displayed to dealership standards.
- Ensure pricing, promotional material, and vehicle specifications are current and accurate.
- Coordinate with the detailing team to ensure vehicles are presented in excellent condition.
General Duties
- Work collaboratively with the Sales, Service, Parts, and Administration teams.
- Maintain knowledge of current vehicle models, features, promotions, and dealership services.
- Follow dealership policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
Desirable
- Experience in the automotive industry or dealership environment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£40,350.28 per year
