Job Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable Sample Technician to join our small studio team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting and sewing shirt samples to a high standard, supporting our ongoing collections and photoshoot production. Your precision and strong understanding of garment construction will ensure every sample reflects the quality and craft the label is built on. This position offers a flexible, low commitment way into a growing heritage menswear label, with scope to take on more as we move into future drops.
Duties
- Cut and sew shirts from patterns and specs provided, to a high standard of finish
- Produce samples ready for photoshoot use, with clean and accurate construction throughout
- Work efficiently to meet shoot deadlines
- Flag any issues with fabric, pattern, or fit as they arise
- Maintain a consistent standard of quality across all sample work
- Work independently in a studio setting with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Strong machine sewing skills, with middleweight experience in cutting and constructing garments
- A sharp eye for detail and finish
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time within a studio setting
- Reliable and able to meet deadlines tied to photoshoot schedules
- Experience with shirts or similar garment construction preferred
Join us as a Sample Technician and play a hands on role in bringing a heritage menswear label to life. Flexible, on an as needed basis, roughly 3 days a month, with scope to grow as we move into future drops.
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour
