Overview
4 DAY WEEK!!!! 3 days off every week, up to 48k total package. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience, working with open fire/BBQ cooking but this is not essential. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, open kitchen, open fire cooking, delivering high-quality meals to our valued customers. multi award winning pub with a great working environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding areas
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, with strengths in cooking fish and meat
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly grilling/BBQ methods
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members
- Prior experience serving or interacting with customers is advantageous but not essential

Pay: Up to £42,000.00 per year
