Perfect Hygiene are looking for an individual to join our existing team within a busy and fast growing company.
Based from our Blackburn, Aberdeen location, the role involves servicing a variety of customers throughout Aberdeen and North East Scotland. The successful candidate will work remotely from their service vehicle, attending customer sites and managing their own daily workload. As such, they will need to be self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
Previous experience within the waste industry, washroom services, or a similar role would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
An ADR driving qualification would be advantageous, however, this is not essential. Perfect Hygiene can support suitable candidates in obtaining this certification where required.
The role involves:
● Collecting clinical and other waste from healthcare and commercial premises, including:
○ Clinical and offensive waste
○ Sealed sharps containers
● Installing and servicing washroom equipment, including:
○ Hygiene bins
○ Air fresheners
○ Wall-mounted dispensers
● Delivery and exchange of laundered floor mats
● Delivering washroom consumables, janitorial products and waste-related supplies
● Emptying wheelie bins
● Completing service records and using mobile technology to capture photos, signatures and job information
The successful candidate will require:
● A full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points and no driving bans within the last 5 years)
● Confidence driving and loading larger vans, including the use of tail lifts
● The ability to follow planned routes and have a reasonable knowledge of the North and East of Scotland
● Confidence using phone and tablet-based technology
● Good written and verbal communication skills
● The ability to complete paperwork where required
● Basic DIY skills for installing wall-mounted equipment
● A willingness to follow strict health and safety procedures designed to protect employees and customers
● A good level of fitness, as manual handling and lifting is involved
● Current ADR certification or willingness to obtain this
