We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Chef de Partie / Catering Chef to join our growing team. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of catering sectors, with plenty of scope to develop your skills and experience.
The Role
You’ll work alongside our Head Chef, helping to prepare and deliver a variety of events and catering services. You’ll also have the opportunity to take responsibility for smaller events, from preparation through to service.
The role will include:
- Working alongside the Head Chef to prepare and deliver high-quality food.
- Cooking and managing food service for smaller events.
- Supporting a wide variety of catering projects across different sectors.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food hygiene within the kitchen.
- Working evenings and weekends as required.
- Contributing positively to the wider team and helping to maintain our high standards.
About You
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ cooking experience, ideally with a background in event and retail catering.
Previous front-of-house or customer-facing experience would also be beneficial, although it isn’t essential.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with:
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- A passion for food and catering.
- Good organisation and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- High standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
The right attitude is just as important as experience, and we’re happy to provide training and support to the right candidate.
What We Offer
- £13–£15 per hour, depending on experience.
- Zero hours contract, with approximately 20 hours per week available.
