Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, creating high-quality beverages, and supporting various operational tasks within our café. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with food preparation tasks
- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and handling transactions using the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and utensils to meet food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support team members with general duties such as setting up tables, clearing orders, and managing queues during busy periods.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold food safety standards at all times.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures is desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour to enhance customer experience.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends if required.
- Organised with a keen eye for detail to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
