Responsibilities
- Take accurate orders from guests for food and drinks, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide friendly, attentive service to enhance the guest experience and address any special requests or dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, bar area, and service stations throughout your shift
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of all consumables
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including processing payments and giving change
- Assist in setting up the dining area before service hours and cleaning up after closing to uphold hygiene standards
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, including mixing drinks and handling bar equipment, is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety protocols ensures safe handling of food and beverages
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism
- Basic math skills are essential for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
