Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Part-time Garden Maintenance Person / Driver to join our team. This role involves maintaining gardens and landscapes, assisting with horticultural tasks, and providing transportation support as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and landscape care, along with practical experience in using various tools and equipment. Duties
- Perform garden and landscape maintenance, including pruning, planting, mowing, and weeding
- Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain gardens effectively
- Assist with specialised horticultural tasks such as fertilising and pest control
- Operate vehicles safely to transport tools, plants, or materials between sites
- Support the installation of new garden features or landscape elements
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all gardening equipment and supplies
- Follow health and safety procedures during all maintenance activities
Experience
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is desirable
- Growing experience or knowledge of plant care and garden design is advantageous
- Practical understanding of using gardening equipment safely and efficiently
- A valid driving licence is required for transportation duties
- Passion for gardening and outdoor work with a keen eye for detail
