Objectives of this Position
- Responsible for carrying out small to medium cleaning jobs.
- Working in a team dedicated to completing jobs on time and to a high specification.
- Able to carry out most cleaning duties an experience in general cleaning is essential.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Most hold a current CSCS card (or willing to get one)
- Knowledge and skills of different cleaning duties
- We are looking for an individual who is attentive, assertive, driven and able to manage their time and responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Highly motivated and able to work on their own as well as part of a team.
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to “muck in” and carry out a variety of tasks as necessitated by the operation.
- Early starts are part of the job as there is some traveling involved, although this does change daily as we do a variety of jobs.
Benefits and Pay
- Working hours - usually 8 hrs a day plus some travel time
- The pay for this position is £12.71 per hour (this is negotiable)
- We don't pay for the first hour of travel, but anything after that we do pay for, ( if the journey to work is 1.5 hours we pay 30 minutes).
- We offer the opportunity to earn overtime at normal rate and also have oportunity of working weekends, sometimes away (food and hotel provided)
- You will be employed during a 6 month probationary period, after which we are offering a PAYE contract.
- Paid statutory holiday entitlement from day one
- Company vehicle and fuel card to use during work hours, if a driver.
- Staff uniform is provided
